The Hawker Sea Hurricane was created as a naval variant of the legendary Hurricane fighter of the Royal Air Force. Urgently needed for convoy escort in 1941, the regular Hurricane was fitted with shock-absorbing hooks and reinforced landing gear. The Mk.IIC version had an improved armament of four 20mm Hispano cannons and proved extremely effective against long-range German reconnaissance aircraft. Today, only a few examples remain, making this model a special way to pay tribute to this historic aircraft.
