Wooden game Mikado Giant Age: 3+

The wooden game Mikado Giant consists of 31 sticks that are scattered in the middle of the room or other flat surface. The goal is for players to collect the largest number of sticks without knocking over or moving the others when removing any of them. Each stick carries different points and differs from the others in color.

2-4 people play. The first player collects all the chopsticks and holds them in his hand so that they remain vertically between the index finger and thumb. Then, with a sharp opening of the hand, he drops the chopsticks on the table.
The second player tries to pull out the sticks one by one, without moving any of the other sticks. The sticks can be collected with one or two hands, by holding the two sharp tips, by pressing the sharp ends, or by using a stick that has already been pulled out. When a player makes a mistake, the game stops, and the next player begins.
In this way, all players take turns until the sticks run out. In the second game, the sticks are released by the second player and the third player plays first.
The game continues until all players have taken turns throwing the sticks. After the game is over, everyone adds up the points from the sticks they collected.
