Description

  • Elecfreaks PlanetX MQ2 is a smoke and flammable gas detection sensor designed for STEM education, robotics, and IoT projects. It allows for air quality monitoring and detection of potentially hazardous gas concentrations in educational and experimental applications.
  • The sensor detects smoke and various flammable gases , including propane, butane (LPG), isobutane, methane, hydrogen, alcohol and flue gases . As the concentration of gas or smoke increases, the sensor's output signal increases, allowing for easy reading and use in various automated systems.
  • Thanks to the modular design of the PlanetX system, the sensor is easily integrated with other modules to create a variety of projects. The color-coded ports facilitate correct connection and make it suitable for both beginners and advanced users.
  • To use the sensor, a Nezha Expansion Board and RJ11 cable are required, which are available separately.
