Montessori's rich collection of teaching aids includes developmental materials designed to work with children from 2 to 14 years of age.
The products allow children to gain knowledge, competence, skills and experience through their own actions, engaging all the senses. Study materials, including mathematical, botanical and geographical maps, are in classic shapes made from high-quality wood.
Some of them are made with plastic elements.

Four boxes containing triangles for constructing regular and irregular flat shapes and patterns. Triangles must be arranged based on their color or black lines on their sides.

The triangle-shaped box contains elements that, when assembled according to the rules, form triangles: 1 gray and solid, green with 2 triangles, yellow with 3 triangles and red with 4 triangles.

The large hexagon-shaped box contains the parts that make up regular polygons: a yellow hexagon made up of 1 whole, a yellow hexagon made up of 4 triangles, a gray parallelogram made up of 2 triangles, a red rhombus made up of 2 triangles.

The box in the shape of a smaller hexagon contains elements with the help of which it is possible to arrange regular polygons: 1 yellow triangle of 1 whole, 3 red diamonds consisting of 6 triangles, 1 green isosceles trapezoid composed of 3 triangles and 1 gray hexagon made up of 6 triangles. Two sets of triangles are placed in a rectangular box.

One set consists of yellow, gray, green and red triangles that form regular quadrilaterals: 1 green square, 1 gray rectangle, 1 red trapezoid, 1 yellow rhombus, 1 green and 2 yellow parallelograms. Every quadrilateral is made up of two triangles.

The second set consists of blue triangles without black outlines. Quadrilaterals are formed from these triangles, each of them is composed of 2 triangles: 1 square, 1 rectangle, 1 rhombus and 1 isosceles trapezium.

The child learns the basics of geometry, develops and improves his ability to construct and name various geometric figures. This activity allows students to discover that triangles can form regular or irregular shapes and patterns.
