Nowa Szkola Montessori spindles, in a box

Montessori's rich collection of learning aids includes developmental materials designed to work with children from 2 to 14 years of age.
The products allow children to gain knowledge, competence, skills and experience through their own actions, engaging all the senses. Study materials, including mathematical, botanical and geographical maps, are in classic shapes made from high-quality wood.

Math aid consisting of 2 wooden boxes without lids. Any
is divided into 5 rectangular sectors, and their back walls are marked with the numbers from 0 to 9.

There are 45 spindles in each part of the box (except the one marked zero).

Spindles make it easy to introduce the concept of cardinal numbers, helping children acquire the ability to count from 1 to 9 and remember their order in a sequence of numbers

In addition, this kit develops the ability to associate the numbers of objects with a given figure and introduces the concept of zero as an empty set.
