My first microscope - Geosafari, pink

Manual for using the microscope

Insert 3 AAA batteries according to the battery installation instructions. Place an object to be observed on the special tray. Turn on the light. Show the child how to observe through the eyepieces and how to adjust the focus of the object to get a clearer picture. Encourage him to find different objects to explore and become familiar with them. Some interesting objects that children can explore are: toys, money (coins and bills), leaves, clothes, paper and food. Ask the child what interesting details he found while looking at the objects through the microscope. Give him crayons and a piece of paper and ask him to draw the object as he sees it through the microscope without looking at it magnified.

Cleaning the microscope - Wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse the microscope in water.

Battery installation

1. Carefully unscrew the screw to open the battery compartment.
2. Insert 3 AAA batteries into the battery compartment as shown in the accompanying instruction.
3. Close the cap and screw back the screw.
