A strategic board game for two players that originated in Ancient China. A classic strategic board game for two with drawers for storing pawns. The goal of the game is for each player to enclose as much territory as possible with their pawns. Go is a logic game created approximately 4300 years ago, originating in Ancient China. The oldest name for Go is "Yi" and is mentioned in the speeches of Confucius. It is considered the first logic game created by man. The game develops strategic thinking, observation, and imagination. Go surpasses chess with its countless playing options, is characterized by simple rules and deep strategy. It is played on a board marked with a certain number of intersecting lines by two players. Black plays first; once placed, the stone does not move. During the game, one or more stones can be taken if they are completely surrounded, i.e. if all the spaces around them are filled. Each checker has free zones – “freedoms”. Freedoms are unoccupied points, directly connected horizontally or vertically to any checker placed on the board. Since diagonal connections do not exist, each checker has a maximum of 4 freedoms. Checkers that have lost all their freedoms are called prisoners and are removed from the board.
