Description

  • Oil-based pastels suggest wonderful possibilities for applying both extremely intense, strong colors and delicate pastel tones. Due to their high brightness, the pastels are ideal for classical use, for example for sgraffito, encaustic and scraping techniques, as well as for all mixing techniques. Their smooth structure ensures a soft and easy application of the colors. Depending on the desired artistic effect, you can use your finger to wipe them off, or blend them with a brush and turpentine (or white spirit). Using turpentine or white spirit, you can achieve the effect of a picture painted with watercolor paints. They are suitable for use on any type and color of paper, cardboard, canvas and even wood and ceramics!
  • By mixing colors, countless new shades are obtained. Light shades are obtained by adding white; respectively the dark ones – by adding black.
  • The drawing is dense, buttery, and their colors range from bright and sparkling to soft and muted.
