This car seat has passed extensive safety crash tests as part of the latest R129/i-Size standard. The i-Size standard requires testing with mandatory side impact and rollover tests – all using the latest crash simulation test dummies – to help create safer car seats. In addition to the tests required by the standard, the Come and Go 2 i-Size 360 has been tested beyond these requirements, the Come and Go i-size has been tested against the requirements of the popular ADAC test.

The rear-facing position is recommended as safer because, in a frontal collision, rear-facing seats spread the force over a much larger area, thus putting less pressure on the delicate head, neck and spine. Come and Go 2 i-Size Rotate has 4 backrest tilt positions for both directions of use.

The contoured seat has secure ISOFIX attachment points and a force-absorbing construction. Easy-to-see safety indicators on the seat and support leg confirm proper installation for your peace of mind. The outrigger provides additional stability by utilizing the vehicle floor and will reduce forward tilt in the event of a collision. The support leg offers an easier installation compared to other options (top tether for example). The Come and Go 2 i-Size 360 has a premium SIPS (side impact protection system) that will absorb the forces in the event of a side collision. Deep side panels and energy-absorbing foam padding provide additional side impact protection. It also has an exclusive 5-point plus anti-escape system. The 5-point plus system is attached to the belt. This reduces the space your child would normally be able to put their hands through. This gives them less wiggle room - increasing safety when travelling. In tests, 9 out of 10 children could not remove their hands from the belt when the 5-point plus anti-escape system was attached.
