FUN WAYS TO PLAY:

• Sort the birds by color. Ask the toddler to identify the first color (eg green) and then place a bird of the same color. Do the same with the remaining colors.
• Learn the numbers on Huey's birds with your child. Start with the numbers 1-5, pointing and saying each number in turn, one at a time. You can then insert them into the hippo's back in order, saying each one out loud. Take them out in the same way to reinforce number recognition.
