Originally developed by the Italian company Iso, the small car was licensed and further developed by BMW. With its distinctive front entrance, economical single-cylinder engine and low price, the Isetta quickly became a symbol of the German economic miracle. Over 160,000 units were produced between 1955 and 1962, and they have now become sought-after collector’s items.
