Once babies learn to crawl and walk, nothing is safe from them. The contents of the drawers are especially exciting for young explorers, but they are often not without danger.

With our utensil drawer safety lock, you can prevent your child from accessing drawer contents that are not suitable for small hands, including sharp objects such as knives and scissors or medicine.

Double safety drawer lock that prevents trapped fingers

The safety lock prevents both the opening and closing of the drawers unintentionally. A drawer fitted with a lock can only be opened a slight crack until the thumb is locked in the locked position. In this position, the drawer cannot be opened or closed without an additional step. For one, it prevents your child from accessing the contents of the drawer. On the other hand, this locking position prevents your child from getting their fingers caught when trying to close the drawer. The drawer can only be opened or closed completely when you unfasten the safety device

Universal use thanks to intelligent design

Its intelligent design means that the safety lock can be safely used with overhanging work surfaces (over 20mm overhang) and in drawers that are not very deep (for example due to built-in cutlery trays, a minimum height of 4cm above the tray). This allows it to offer maximum protection against all items in kitchen drawers.

The safety drawer lock can be attached quickly and easily thanks to the installation assistant provided. It shows you exactly where the lock needs to be attached or glued/screwed. This saves you measuring and marking and prevents annoying unnecessary damage if you make a mistake.

Especially safe for children and suitable for adults thanks to the double opening mechanism

The double locking mechanism of the latch securely secures your drawers against little explorers. For adults, however, it can be easily opened with one hand. You just need to push the slider forward and then push it down. This unlocks the safety device and allows you to open your utensil drawer as normal.

Invisible thanks to the installation in the drawer

The safety key is mounted in the drawer. This not only means that the security device is invisible from the outside during use, but also means that there is no unsightly damage left on visible front doors after use.

Quality and safety tested according to strict criteria

To protect your loved ones, our products undergo both internal testing and inspection by external institutions. The drawer protector was tested based on the current standard EN 16948: 2017 (safety locks for cabinets and drawers) and successfully passed all tests in terms of retention, durability and resistance.
